So I just noticed that Michael Grant is going to be at the National Book Festival in Washington, DC on September 23! His presentation is 1:50 pm - 2:35 pm, and his signing is unfortunately right afterwards at 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm (usually you have to line up a bit in advance to get a good place in line/even get a signature before time is up)...any ( Read more... )

I'm a librarian and I'm attending this conference for children's & youth librarians, and Katherine Applegate is one of the keynote speakers. Which, obviously, I've been super excited about ever since I got permission from my boss to register for this ( Read more... )
